Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 27, 2026
This page is maintained by Picks Terminal to explain what data we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It is not legal advice. If you have questions, email privacy@picksterminal.com.
Who we are
Picks Terminal is an analytics terminal for combat sports. We publish AI-generated previews, fighter comparisons, and community analysis. We are not affiliated with the UFC, Zuffa LLC, or any sports league.
Information we collect
- Account information. When you sign up, we store your email, username, display name, and (optionally) an avatar.
- Content you create. Community posts, analyses, reviews, and comments you publish on the platform.
- Newsletter subscriptions. Your email address and language preference if you subscribe to our weekly briefing.
- Technical data. Basic logs (IP, user agent, timestamps) used for security, abuse prevention, and debugging.
How we use your information
- To operate your account and let you participate in the community.
- To send the newsletter you subscribed to (you can unsubscribe in one click).
- To send transactional emails (account, security, important updates).
- To detect abuse and keep the platform safe.
We do not sell your personal data.
Service providers
We use a small set of vendors to run the site: a managed database and auth provider for accounts and content, a transactional email provider to deliver emails, and AI providers that generate matchup analysis from publicly available sources. These providers process data only on our behalf.
Cookies and advertising
We use cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and remember your language preference. The Service may also display advertising from third-party ad networks (such as Google AdSense / Ad Manager). When ads are enabled, those partners may set cookies or read advertising identifiers to serve, cap, measure, and — where you consent — personalize ads. See our Cookies & Tracking page for the categories we use and how to control them.
Legal bases (GDPR)
If you are in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, we rely on the following legal bases: contract to provide your account and deliver content you request; legitimate interests to keep the Service secure, prevent abuse, and run aggregated analytics; consent for non-essential cookies, advertising personalization, and marketing emails; and legal obligationwhere we must retain records. You can withdraw consent at any time.
California rights (CCPA / CPRA)
California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion or correction, and opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals as an opt-out. To exercise these rights, email privacy@picksterminal.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
International transfers
Our service providers may process data in countries other than yours, including the United States. Where required, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.
Data retention
Account data is kept while your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your profile and personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to keep records (e.g. fraud prevention). Public posts may be retained in anonymized form.
Your rights
You can request access, correction, export, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing privacy@picksterminal.com. If you are in the EEA, UK, or California, you have additional rights under GDPR/CCPA which we honor on request.
Children
Picks Terminal is not intended for users under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be communicated by email or via a notice on the site.
